First, we arrange a personal introduction with you and your dog. We would love to get to know his character, his habits, and anything extra he might need. Of course, we also check together whether there is a good click on both sides.

No kennels, no crates: dogs never rest in a crate or kennel.

Why Maui

Maui grew out of my love for animals. In the past, I did volunteer work at the h'Onderdak animal shelter in Bergen op Zoom. There, I cared for all kinds of pets and saw up close how much it matters for an animal to have a safe, trusted, familiar place. That experience has always stayed with me, and it inspired me to create a place of my own where animals feel welcome and at ease. A place where they can be themselves, receive personal attention, and where we take the time to look at what each of them needs. The name Maui fits that perfectly, for me. Maui stands for energy, a zest for life, playfulness, independence and a positive spirit. Maui is also, as it happens, my sister's French bulldog. With his cheerful, open, unguarded character, he's actually the perfect inspiration for both my concept and the logo. At Maui, what matters most to me is that you can leave your dog with us with genuine peace of mind. He has a lovely day and can play to his heart's content, but also gets enough rest whenever he needs it. With personal attention, plenty of room to happily be himself, and of course plenty of cuddles and love, I hope your dog will feel right at home.

Dog daycare at Maui means your dog plays, socializes and rests with us during the day, in a small-scale, safe setting in Rilland, Zeeland.
Yes, we collect from Bergen op Zoom, Halsteren, Heimolen, Lepelstraat and Heerle and bring your dog home again at the end of the day. Outside those towns? Feel free to get in touch, pickup is sometimes possible on request. Our location in Rilland, Zeeland is our workplace, not a pickup or drop-off address for clients.
Maui is based in Rilland, just outside Bergen op Zoom, and runs a pickup service so dog daycare in Bergen op Zoom and the surrounding area is fully covered. You never have to drive to Rilland yourself.
We offer free pickup in our pickup zone: Bergen op Zoom, Halsteren, Heimolen, Lepelstraat and Heerle. Outside that zone we pick up on request, for example in Woensdrecht, Hoogerheide, Kruiningen, Krabbendijke, Bath, Calfven, Rilland. That is our own workplace, not a fixed pickup or drop-off address, so we discuss what is possible together.
Maui is located in Rilland, Zeeland, between Bergen op Zoom and the Zeeland border. We share the exact address once you book a free introduction: Rilland is our workplace, not a pickup or drop-off address for customers.
We agree on a fixed time window with you for the pickup service. If anything changes, we let you know in good time, so you never have to wait needlessly.
The pickup and drop-off service is included in the price, there is no extra charge. We collect from Bergen op Zoom, Halsteren, Heimolen, Lepelstraat and Heerle and bring your dog home again at the end of the day.
There is always a dry, warm indoor space available. Outdoor play continues as long as it is safe and comfortable for the dogs.
We do our best. A day of outdoor play sometimes means a muddy dog, but we brush and clean up where we can.
We guide socializing in small groups, matched to size and character, so every dog feels at ease.
Feel free to raise this during the introduction chat. We will honestly assess together whether it is a good match.
In some cases we can make an exception. Send us an email with your address and we will let you know what is possible.
At the moment Maui is exclusively for dogs. Other pets are part of our future plans, but we do not offer that care yet today.
Puppies are very welcome. During the free introduction we discuss together what your puppy needs and whether it is already a good time for daycare. Early, guided socializing is especially valuable for young dogs.

No, a subscription or punch card is not required: with Maui dog daycare you book a fixed day each week and pay € 50 per day. If you prefer a single day, it costs € 60.
A trial day or introduction at Maui is always free. This gives you and your dog a relaxed way to get to know Maui, at no cost.
You can cancel a planned daycare day free of charge up to 48 hours in advance. If you cancel later than that, Maui reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee of up to the full amount of the planned day.
